A career defining opportunity for someone with extensive retail and grocery contacts who is up for a brand build opportunity.

Our client has built a very strong D2C brand internationally. The UK accounts for around 40% of their current sales. They have recently taken on significant investment from a well known consumer goods PE firm and are now set to drive growth in the UK Retail and Grocery Channels.

They sit within the Lifestyle/Sports Nutrition/Supplement category which is very hot right now and in huge growth.

The challenge here is to establish them in retail/grocery channels. Everything is in place to facilitate this and significant investment has already been made, this hire is the missing piece, the person who can open up and unlock the listings.

To begin with you will operate in the UK alone with support from the investors and founders, however, this will change quickly and the UK based team will grow rapidly.

You will be the most senior hire in the UK reporting directly to the founder and as such part of your role will be build out the team as well as win the listings.

We have been asked to find someone with challenger brand experience, who has been through the build phase previously and has successfully grown a brand and established it in the UK markets.

A directorship and stake in the business are on offer for the right person.

You can live anywhere in the UK for this one, there will also be infrequent international travel.
